Leabridge Rugby Challenge enters Day 2

The Leabridge Rugby Challenge which started on Tuesday entered day two today. The fans who thronged Bushman Rock this afternoon were not disappointed as  interesting rugby was on display. Three South African schools took to the field today against their Zimbabwean counterparts with mixed fortunes, but after all had been said and done it was a great day for schoolboy rugby in Southern Africa. Four local Under 13 teams also entertained the fans with their fast paced and enjoyable rugby.

2012 is the inaugural year for the  Leabridge Rugby Challenge. The main goal of the festival is to raise the profile of Zimbabwean schoolboy rugby.  We at Frontrow certainly believe that the organizers are on the right path. The three South African schools taking part in the Leabridge Rugby Challenge are Pretoria Boys High, St Andrews College and the high flying SACS from Cape Town.
