All troops are out this weekend. Just a week before half-term, each of the teams in the two rugby leagues has a league game, no byes.
Prince Edward hosts the Health International sponsored St John’s College “Rams” on Jubilee field. The “Tigers” will be looking to redeem themselves, having lost 42-18 to St George’s College last weekend. A wounded lion is known to be very dangerous, could this be the same with a wounded tiger?
Another classic clash on the cards is the St George’s College – Peterhouse Boys. St George’s will be looking to extend their unbeaten run while Peterhouse Boys will want to register a win and stay on top of the overall log table for the Super 8 league. It was Peterhouse that spoiled “Saints'” unbeaten run in the last rugby fixture of 2012. Can they do it again?
Christian Brothers College is on the road again this weekend to Kyle College while Churchill travels to Falcon College. After Falcon’s showing against Peterhouse it’s not going to be an easy one for Churchill but nothing is certain.
In the Co-Ed league Gateway hosts Hellenic Academy while Midlands Christian College travels to Watershed College. Lomagundi College will be hosted by Petra this weekend. Eaglesvale hosts Hillcrest College in a compulsory fixture. The two teams clashed at the Cottco Schools Rugby Festival and Eaglesvale registered a 19 – 10 victory.
Frontrowzim.com will live tweet the St George’s College – Peterhouse fixture as well as the Eaglesvale – Hillcrest one with hashtags #SgPb13 and #EgHc13 respectively.
