The SSN Promise

Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them – William Shakespeare (Twelfth Night Act II, Scene V).

It’s the end of the year 2013 and with the new one comes a lot of promises. Promises to

  • to work harder and make the house, school, provincial or national team in 2014
  • to be the school cross country champion
  • to be the house, team or games captain
  • The list is endless. Only YOU know what promises YOU have made and are making for 2014.

Why don’t you make one of those promises be about SSN? Promise yourself to find out who we are, what we are about and perhaps even better, promise yourself that you will be profiled on SSN!

As we head in to 2014, SSN is looking for dynamic young men and women who will fill SSN pages with sporting talent and news. Promise yourself to be mentioned in the sporting class of 2014. If you are not one for getting sweaty and dirty, you can make the sporting news by writing about those who are sporty. In order to be short listed for the SSN Player of the Year Awards, you need to start by making that promise. The promise to be great.

You can get a head start by following us on Twitter and liking us on Facebook. Interact with us – send us mail, ask questions, send pictures. Sign up for SSN Alerts by sending us your cell number.
