A top three finish in tomorrow’s race will see Du Toit go through to the Finals A, a step closer to a medal for Team Zimbabwe, while a 4-6 finish will move her to the Finals B race which will determine places 7-12.

The other Zimbabwean rower at the Youth Games, Kyle Hinde of St John’s College, missed the cut for the A/B Finals, finishing sixth in his repêchage race to move on to the C/D semi-finals. Hinde will be hoping for a top three finish in his race in order to proceed to the C Final where position 13-18 will be determined.
