Exactly A Week Before Dairibord Schools Rugby Festival Kicks Off

It’s exactly seven days before the first whistle blows to signal the start of the second edition of the Dairibord Schools Rugby Festival. A lot of schools are now in camp preparing for this huge event; not wanting to leave anything to chance. An extra week of preparations is all that stands between the supporters, the players and the greatest high school rugby festival this world has to offer.

Today’s countdown picture features Daniel Nyamugama who was at St George’s College last year. The shot is from his team’s fixture against Windhoek Tech – a match they won 12-05. The Harare side doesn’t have any fixtures with teams from beyond our borders this year, but they will have an equally challenging festival as they pitted against Midlands Christian College, St John’s College and Churchill Boys. You can view all the fixtures on our Dairibord Schools Rugby Festival page.
